Grand Cayman Fishing Report December 25, 2023. Christmas Gifts! Grand Cayman Fishing Report, the Christmas winds have subsided, and the weather and seas have turned fair. Roshad, Deal, and Rick loaded up Makeover and headed to Grand Cayman’s Twelve Mile Bank with hopes Christmas Day would bring us gifts of big fish. Deal planned to show us how to use a Cuban Yoyo Hand Reel to catch a big Wahoo. We were skeptical. We arrive at Twelve Mile Bank at noon. Roshad checked the direction of the current. It was running strong at 240 degrees. We trolled for bait and headed to the West end of the Bank Near the Southwest corner of Twelve Mile Bank to Drift for Grand Cayman Yellowfin Tuna.
