“Captain Charlie” Johnson grew up in Negril, Jamacia. Eager to learn, Charlie got his start in the charter industry, selling tours and charters to visitors. He came to the Cayman Islands in 2003 to work with a large charter company on the island. That experience taught him all about the Cayman waters and Cayman culture.
Captain Charlie became an instant star with his guests. Often described as the ”best part” of the trip, his big and bright smile is welcoming to all! His calm, confident demeanor makes it easy for guests to relax and enjoy the day. His favorite part of the day is talking with his guests. “I learn about their expectations for the day. My goal is to exceed those expectations,” says a smiling Captain Charlie. I want my guest to be wowed! “Fishing can be unpredictable, you can always count on my crew and me to provide a great day on the water.”

He knows each day on the water in Cayman is a blessing, and he never forgets it! “I have fished all over. I am very proud of winning second place in the 2018 Offshore World Championship in Quepos, Costa Rica. I love to fish on Cayman. Nothing is better than hearing the reels screaming and reeling in a big wahoo or tuna. Fishing for Marlin is my favorite and my specialty.” I love the thill.
