Grand Cayman Fishing Report for March 4,2022

Grand Cayman Fishing Report Grand Cayman fishing report for March 4, 2022. Slow, Real Slow. Multiple reports are all the same. Right now, fishing is slow. Different techniques,  bait, and fishing areas seem to lead to the same result.   Not too many fish are being caught. Yesterday, Captain Stephen Ebanks from Reel Vibes Charters reported a slow 4 hour trip with a barracuda and a couple of blackfin tuna. Today Captain Charlie spent 5 hours on Wildcard trolling the south side with little success. He reported rough seas. A report from one angler that made the trip to Pickle Bank had better results with four wahoo and 4 yellowfin. Grand Cayman Fishing Report for March 2, 2022

Grand Cayman Fishing Report Reports are that the Northside has been slow. Similar reports have been coming in from 12-Mile Bank this week. Captain Andrew from Y-Knot Charters reported a small wahoo (weehoo) off NW Point. Roshad reported some good activity around South Sound. He spotted some big tuna feeding and heard reports of a few wahoos being caught there too. The seas were quieter there too. I trolled Nomads DTX  Minnows, Mauraders, and MagBay high-speed Plomero Torpedo for about 90 minutes along the Southside with no strikes. While tidying up the deck, I got shallow and hooked this nice black grouper on the way home. Dinner tonight will be Blackened

Grand Cayman Fishing Report for March 1, 2022

Grand Cayman Fishing Report For March 1, 2022 Big barracuda! Jim Crosby and his son Henry joined Reel Vibes Charters for a morning of Grand Cayman fishing. Captain Stephen Ebanks and mate Sean Bodden were joined by Rick and Christine from fishcaymanislands.com too. The morning was calm at sunrise. By the time the 34′ SeeVee exited the reef through Augustus channel, the wind and waves picked up as we headed towards Northwest Point.  1-3′ seas looked promising.  The 80w Penn wireline would get a workout.  The 1st strike hit the wireline and was gone in an instant.  Next, a hard hit off SMB,  had the wireline screaming and left Henry from Nantucket, Ma. with a dead arm.  Big Wahoo?? Nope Monster Barracuda.
