Grand Cayman Fishing Reports for March 20, 2022. After a slow morning trolling for wahoo at 12-Mile Bank, Captain Stephen switched up and set up to drift for yellowfin. That worked! His guest landed a 40lb yellowfin on the 2nd drift and on the 3rd drift they had a double hook up one yellowfin and one shark. The yellowfin went into the fish bag and the shark was sent on his way. They trolled for wahoo again but, no strikes. Reelvibes headed home with 2 “butterballs” on ice and smiles on his guest faces. Putting Smiles on his guests faces is Captain Stephens favorite part of being a charter captain.
His guest wanted to try for a tarpon when they got back in Governor’s Harbor. The day ended with a successful catch and release of a nice size tarpon. A great day aboard Reel Vibes!
Stephen reported fair seas and a southwest current at 12-Mile bank.
