Grand Cayman Fishing Report for March 2, 2022

Grand Cayman Fishing Report

Reports are that the Northside has been slow. Similar reports have been coming in from 12-Mile Bank this week. Captain Andrew from Y-Knot Charters reported a small wahoo (weehoo) off NW Point.

Roshad reported some good activity around South Sound. He spotted some big tuna feeding and heard reports of a few wahoos being caught there too. The seas were quieter there too.

I trolled Nomads DTX  Minnows, Mauraders, and MagBay high-speed Plomero Torpedo for about 90 minutes along the Southside with no strikes. While tidying up the deck, I got shallow and hooked this nice black grouper on the way home.

Dinner tonight will be Blackened Grouper!
