We’ve had a fantastic weather weekend for fishing in Grand Cayman. Anglers caught lots of fish including a few really big yellowfin tuna. Here’s your latest update:
The week has been blessed with clear skies, light winds, and calm seas, creating perfect deep-sea and reef fishing conditions. The Grand Cayman weather forecast for the coming days suggests a continuation of these favorable conditions, with temperatures hovering around the mid-80s during the day.
The big game fishing has been on fire! Given that the seas have calmed down, many anglers made their way to Grand Cayman’s 12-Mile Bank. These anglers were rewarded with some great catches including many nice-sized yellowfin tuna. While “drifting and chunking” Captain Clayton Ebanks from Grand Time Watersports has a great day with multiple including a 73-lb. beauty. In addition, while trolling he boated a nice wahoo.

The reefs around Grand Cayman are bustling with activity. Snapper, grouper, porgies, and jacks are biting well. Reef fishing is great for novice anglers, families with young children, and groups.
